I am a creator, author, and the founder of Prayerful Art by Kari Reno. My work exists at the intersection of spiritual resilience and honest survival. As an artist and the author of “Sacred Sentences”, I spend my days building tangible artifacts for those navigating the shadows of depression and the slow, steady work of sobriety while also homeschooling her 3 boys.

My practice is rooted in the belief that beauty is a vital necessity, not a luxury. Since 2021, I have also served as the facilitator of a local women’s intention circle—a dedicated space for honest reckoning and shared growth. Whether through my abstract mixed-media art or the written word, my role is to act as a curator of hope for those who understand that in a world that tries to dim our light, simply choosing to stay—and choosing to keep creating—is an act of sacred rebellion.
